The Fig Tree

Cursing the Fig Tree (google)
I am such a question girl. If something doesn't make sense, to me, it's an open invitation to sit at my Savior's Feet and be taught. So, today, the Holy Spirit brings up The Fig Tree. He asks, "Don't you have a question about it, concerning the discovery of 'witchcraft,' and how that the healing of the Invalid for 38 years was an answer to a question in the Garden?" Well, yes, I believe I do. So I asked, "Why did you curse the fig tree? It wasn't time for fruit...yet?" The Holy Spirit led me to Genesis 3, where we see The Fig Tree for the first time.
Eve had just engaged the serpent in conversation, answering for God in a subject matter she didn't have first hand experience. That, in an of itself, is extremely important. In the practice of the law, 2nd hand reports are considered "hearsay." End of story. Kinda like a false prophet, speaking for God, speaks "heresy." Was it because she didn't have the "correct" information that she made the choice to "touch" and then "eat" the fruit?" Uh, no...cause you see, the man, was standing right next to her, and could have corrected her at any point in time...but hold up, did it say that the man "saw" the serpent or "spoke" to the serpent? Uh, no, the man, only interacted with the woman. That, in and of itself, tells us a boat load. The couple hadn't been "intimate (into me see)" for a bit...so just a "bite" would do, dontchya think?
Immediately, after they disobeyed, they had more than enough time to repent. How do we know? They sewed themselves coverings out of fig leaves...hmm. Doesn't that spark another question? Why fig leaves? I would think that there were more adequate coverings than fig leaves, and what did they sew with...needles and thread? Here's my theory based on what I know about "movement." It takes a great deal of walking/persevering with the Holy Spirit to cause "movement" in the spirit world. Like the womb, the fetus is always moving and growing, but movement can't be felt until along about the 14th to 16th week...earlier for 2nd time moms. The reason for the fig leaves, was because they were standing in the exact spot of their disobedience, not sure how to precede. Rather than humble themselves and repent, in the form of a cry to Daddy God, the exalted place from where they thought they had ascended, rendered them powerless, shamed, and fearful...but not in fear of God, but this death thing Daddy God said would be their punishment.

I recall a time, when one of my boys had a flutaphone he was in love with, always carrying it around and and tooting on it. Apparently, it was perfectly acceptable to hold it by the mouth piece while tinkling in the potty...uh, ooops, the bell piece fell into the toilet. without thinking, he quickly flushed the toilet to cover up his mistake. That led to removing the toilet, replacing the gasket, a very angry dad, and hopefully a lesson to confess mistakes rather than hide them. We all gotta struggle with something, but hiding mistakes is a difficult one to deal with because it denies that just by being created, an individual is under the authority of The Creator, for the growing up of Love.
Ok, now, we are going to move to a scripture that jumped out to me. I don't know how many of you are aware that the Hebrews cried out to God for a King, and well, why not? When you are already in disobedience, intermingling with those who refuse to live under the authority of God, why not, at least, look like you are interested in negotiations with the authority by saying, "Hey, can we have a king too...we are the only ones without one. In Judges 9:10-11, it says, "Then the trees said to the fig tree, 'You come reign over us!' But the fig tree said to them, 'Shall I leave my sweetness and my good fruit, and go to wave over the trees?'" Wow, If that one doesn't jolt you into sober minded thinking, lets try one more. In Hosea (Prophet who was instructed to marry the Whore)2:12, "I will destroy her vines and fig trees, of which she said, 'These are my wages which my lovers have given me.And I will make them a forest, and the beasts of the field will devour them.'"

So, now we come to it. The reason Jesus cursed the Fig Tree in Matthew was because He was addressing the heart problem that originated in the Garden. Any person who tries to produce fruit in season without acknowledging that he/she is not without authorship, is cursed and will never see God with Pride. God resists the proud. Why? Pride says, "I can cover my own nakedness and I will not bow to the One who doesn't allow me alllllll choices. I choose to be Authority."
On a final note, Revelation speaks again of the Fig Tree. I am not appointed to the office of Prophet; however, the Holy Spirit has gifted me with every gift necessary to interpret His Word with Wisdom. He gives me charts, etc, but relationship along with the clear, in the right direction flow of my heart to the Throne, and The oil to my heart, it still essential. I had an encounter whereby the Holy Spirit ordered my thinking concerning the events coming in quick succession. First, I ran ahead, leaned down to an old friend in a church service, and whispered, "There are demons in here." As I whispered the words, authority zoned in on me. I ran back toward the open door, passing Three Horsemen (red, black, and pale) riding up into the church to execute judgment. Then when I passed through the door, I saw a creature who represents "New Beginning."
I believe the sixth seal was open in August 2015...huge meteor shower....
Check this out, there are many earthquakes, non stop, all over the world, but it takes the Spirit of God to put something together for us with Wisdom. A 6.5 Earthquake hit Solomon Island on Santa Isabel Islands on August 12th. If you keep up with Astrology, a meteor shower flooded the earth August 12th-13th. Numbers and Names mean so much. Six (Marriage/Family), Five (Ministry/Work), Solomon (peace), Isabel (my God is an oath/abundance). When we look at Revelation, we must never see it as events, or something to be "studied." Jesus says we are blessed if we "know and understand," meaning, Love clothes us with Wisdom to walk. Revelation is a knowing of Jesus, but He is in charge of how and when He reveals Himself and to whom. He looks on the heart. Walk with Him; He is so much fun to KNOW.
