Not fair! Why? Such pain!
It's a crime against humanity
Don't talk to me of demons
It's obviously an act of insanity
Not me!?! I can't do that!
Others will see me and judge
You can try every tactic
But my fears won't allow me to budge
Who am I! Blind! NO EYES !!!
I can stand before the throng
Showering them with gifts and goods
But they pull to identify my wrong
Alone! I need no one....NOT ONE!!!
I never fit IN, in the showing OUT world
But you will see, and sling away
The not worth knowing, weird girl
Needs! So many needs to be met
Who wants to know the sick and lame
Lay down the cards
And they can't participate in the game
Lazy! Lay-about! NO drive
No gas in the tank for the journey
You'll find them in their car
Immobilized by a stew of worry
Beauty! Isn't it wonderful, pretty!?!
Head in the clouds with no foot on the ground
Never working through the thorns
'Cause they are Heaven bound
People piling pleasures ON prickly pikes, preventing painful promises......from

Note: Go treasure hunting. Each stanza identifies a word that begins with an "I." These are thorns that prevent us from seeing ourselves and others through the eyes of LOVE. We all have value, but in the comparison of self to others, we lose sight of the LOVE that surrounds us. As Daddy God put it, recently, over and over, FOCUS! Enjoy the poem.
